Terry M. Lee. Rev. Lee a Jamaican by birth has a heart to spread the gospel to all nations and to build and empower the residence of our local communities, to invoke change and improve the quality of life for people of all nations regardless of color, creed, or race.

As a pastor, reverend Lee initially set out to win souls for the Kingdom of God so he preached on the trains and on the streets in his mobile church attracting hundreds. However, in his quest to win souls he has found great needs in the communities and decided to do something about it.

In 1996 the By-ways and Hedges started a food program and a clothing drive to feed and clothed the poor and in need. Seminars and forums were established to bring information and resources to the people of the different communities in areas such as housing, domestic violence, immigration, deportation, citizenship, drive, voter registration, Unity walk, Whitehouse prayer Vigil, Labor Day Parade, The Brooklyn South Awards and many other community programs. Goals/Objectives The objective of The By-ways and Hedges Youth for Christ Ministry is to empower our communities, to foster peace, promote harmony, effect change and build healthier, educated, productive communities; Starting with our youth, preparing them today to be better men and women of tomorrow. To instill godly moral and positive self-esteem, challenging them to reach for greatness and excellence.

Funding /Sponsorship
Byways and Hedges/CCN is the little David among the Goliaths of Domestic violence, Street violence, drugs and gangs. We advocate against Immigration Fraud, the spread of HIV/AIDS, inequality and Injustice. Rev Lee along with a team of volunteers with a passion to effect change for the betterment of our people and nation has gone has gone above and beyond the call to stand up and make a difference.

We operate solely by faith and the help of community leader, as we have no financial resource. We are presently restructuring our organization to attract sponsorship and grants. As the needs of the communities grow and as our mission becomes known to the wider public it becomes more difficult to minister without financial resources, and inadequate facilities.

.

The By-Ways and Hedges Youth for Christ Ministries in conjunction with Community Concerns Network are requesting donation for the use of developing multiple programs which are implemented at the By-Ways & hedges Church.

Our mission here is to educate the community and help them to be aware of what is taking place in and around the surrounding areas. We frequently hold immigration, HIV/AIDS, and Domestic violence seminars. In addition to all of these activities we also have an ongoing music class where children and adults are taught to play various musical instruments. Adults are encouraged to learn to read and write, thus there is an adult literacy class three days per week.

Funds are also needed to cover costs for other areas which will be stated below.
